COLOURFUL EVENING

COLOURFUL EVENING


It is a sunday evening
when the sun is descending the horizon
we set our way to the beach..

There was no much people there
It brought us freedom
That was a crazy feeling..

The wind huged us with sault smell
Stars were twinkling 
around the lightning moon..

Sea waves came towards us
like a roring lion
The sand, a canvas for twilight's art
foot prints left, a fleeting heart..

Silhouettes dance on the water's edge,
As the sun retreats a solemn pledge.
Colors blend in a celestial ballet,
An evening on the beach, stealing the day..

With every wave that kisses the sand
Nature's poetry , beautifully planned
As stars emerge, a celestial spree
The evevning beach whispers, 
inviting serenaty..

Like this situation we walked forward 
acrossing the sea waves..
So that feeling was take me to a heaven 
just a moment....

MIHINTALE

MIHINTALE Buddhism was said to have been brought to sri Lanka on a Poson Poya Day and Mihintale was where it all began.  The Mihintale rock which is over 1008 feet high is situated about 13 kilometers east of Anuradhapura. The historic meeting between King Devanampiyatissa and Arahat Mahinda, the son of Emperor Asoka was India was said to have taken place in 247BC near this rock. As the result of this meeting the king converted to Buddhism ann there was the esteblishment and the growth of Buddhism in Sri lanka. The monks' refectory or the dining room and the relic house is on the second landing in the stairs. Here one will find two stone slabs which are known as the Mihintale tablets. They are inscribed with rules laid down for the monks and the servants of the monastery. These slabs are thought to have been erected during king Mahinda's rule. AN UNBELIEVABLE DAY IN MY LIFE

 An unbelievable day in my life There are so many unbelievable days in my life among them A/l result released day is the most unbelievable day for me. That was a sunday evening. One of my friend called me and asked how is your result. That time i got stucked and felt crazy.  so finally i chequed my result and felt so happy. Because i have passed it within 3A's and within District rank. My perents were really happy. They huged me and blesed their bottum of heart. in order most of my relatives , friends and teachers congrates me. some of them gave gifts for me. Not only that my school also hold a appreciation ceremony on behalf of the pass students. So i attend it with my friends. It was also a very important opportunity for me. Finally i applied this university and i could select my dreamed university also. As a daughter i think i have done my best for A/l's. So hope this day will never forget me on my whole life.
